East Metro Project Homeless Connect
Home Page

The East Metro Project Homeless Connect offers free, on-site services to our neighbors experiencing homelessness in a one day event each year

Like the national model of best practices, the East Metro Project Homeless Connect is a joint community effort of nonprofits, government agencies, businesses and volunteers.  This unusual team helps connect participants to the resources that can move them another step toward stability.

Together, we are more effective than if we act individually.

The East Metro Project Homeless Connect will hold its 4th annual event on:
Monday, June 29, 2009 at the
St. Paul RiverCentre, 175 W. Kellogg Boulevard.

The Steering Committee wishes to acknowledge the tremendous support of many social service agencies, corporate sponsors and community volunteers who make this event possible.

Please help us end homelessness in the East Metro.

Connecting Our Neighbors with Local Services

At each event, we welcome our homeless neighbors (men, women, children and youth) to an event  where they can access a wide variety of resources in one place, including:

  •  housing referrals and placement
  •  employment services
  •  educational information
  •  medical screening, eye exams & mental health services
  •  benefits advice & government information
  •  haircuts
  •  legal services & veterans services
  •  much more
